Overeem vs Harris Betting Action

UPDATE 9:05 P.M. ET: PointsBet USA's Patrick Eichner said earlier Saturday that his shop was sticking with Harris -150, even after a $4,500 play on the favorite. Harris later crept up to -155, drawing 76 percent of tickets and 82 percent of money on the main event. But as the UFC Fight NIght main card got underway Saturday night, Harris was back at -150, with Overeem at +120.

UPDATE 7:20 P.M. ET: With less than 2 hours until the five-bout main card begins, SuperBook manager Eric Osterman said his shop is finally seeing money come in on main-event favorite Harris, who moved from -130 to -140 against Overeem. "This has mostly been public money," Osterman said. In addition, Overeem by knockout, at +250, and Overeem by submission, at 10/1, are also seeing public bets. "It's looking like we will need Overeem by decision."

UPDATE 5:55 P.M. ET: Alan Berg, senior oddsmaker at Caesars sportsbooks, said the book has no real need on Overeem vs. Harris, which tops Saturday's five-bout main card. "Peanut decision," Berg said. Harris is a -150 favorite and Overeem a +120 underdog.

UPDATE 1:45 P.M. ET: PointsBet USA's Patrick Eichner said a $4,500 bet landed on Harris at -150, but the book has stayed on that price, despite the market moving against Harris the past couple of days. Sharp bets are on Over 2.5 rounds for the UFC Fight Night main event, moving those odds from +150 to +128.

Overeem and Harris meet in a heavyweight match at the top of Saturday night’s main card, which has five bouts. Eric Osterman, manager at The SuperBook, said Friday afternoon that the underdog was the play thus far on the UFC Fight Night odds board.

“We’ve taken some sharp action on Overeem at +140. We’re at +110 on him now,” Osterman said. “We haven’t seen much play back on Harris yet. We need Harris as of right now.”

Gadelha vs Hill Betting Action

UPDATE 9:05 P.M. ET: As the UFC Fight Night main card began, Claudia Gadelha continued stretching out at PointsBet USA, moving to a -250 favorite. Gadelha opened -200 against Angela Hill, who moved from +165 to +190.

UPDATE 7:20 P.M. ET: Underdog Angela Hill drew some early parlay money this week at The SuperBook, but as fight time approaches, rapidly rising favorite Claudia Gadelha (-230) is drawing parlay money. "If we don't get some of the earlier fights to go our way, we could end up needing Hill pretty big," Osterman said. "We're getting some play on Gadelha by decision at even money, also. Hill will probably be one of our biggest decisions of the night."

UPDATE 4:50 P.M. ET: Caesars sportsbooks senior oddsmaker Alan Berg said tthe Claudia Gadelha vs Angela Hill co-main event has seen significant line movement on the favorite. Gadelha opened -180 and is now up to -240, with Hill stretching from a +155 underdog to +190.

UPDATE: 1:45 P.M. ET: PointsBet USA said moneyline action is light on this fight, but Claudia Gadelha has been a popular parlay choice against Angela Hill. Gadelha moved from the opener of -200 to -233, then ticked back to -225.

A women’s bout is the co-main for UFC Fight Night, with a clash between strawweights Claudia Gadelha and Angela Hill. The SuperBook is seeing two-way play, but line movement toward the favorite Gadelha.

“The action has been pretty evenly split,” Osterman said. “We haven’t seen any sharp action on this fight yet. However, the line has moved in Gadelha’s favor. We were as low as -190 on her, and we’re at -210 now. We’re seeing a bit more parlay action on Hill, so we need Gadelha right now.”

Brown vs Baeza Betting Action

UPDATE 4:50 P.M. ET: At Caesars sportsbooks, Berg said Matt Brown was seeing "respected money" for his bout against Miguel Baeza, atop the six-bout preliminary card. Baeza opened a -160 favorite, but sharp bets on Brown tightened the price to -145, before ticking up to -150. Brown is now +120..

Welterweights Matt Brown and Miguel Baeza top the six-bout preliminary card for UFC Fight Night. The underdog Brown has seen significant line movement in his favor at The SuperBook, going from +180 to +130.

“We got some sharp action on Brown when we first put this line up,” Osterman said, noting Baeza tightened to -150 chalk, but is drawing dollars. “We have gotten some buyback on Baeza, and we need Brown right now.”

Other UFC Fight Night Betting Action

UPDATE 9:35 P.M.: As the five-bout main card began, Osterman said The SuperBook took a $5,000 bet on Edson Barboza -120 vs. Dan Ige. Barboza moved out to -135, with Ige +115.

UPDATE 7:20 P.M. ET: Sharp bets are coming in at The SuperBook on underdog Marlon Vera, vs Song Yadong. Vera tightened from +175 to +165. "We've seen some parlay money on Vera, as well. Yadong is turning into a pretty good-sized decision for us," Osterman said. Yadong is at -185.

UPDATE 5:55 P.M. ET: Berg said two bouts on the main card – Song Yadong vs Marlon Vera and Krzysztof Jotko vs Eryk Anders – saw Over steam on the round total in the past hour at Caesars books. The Over/Under of 2.5 rounds for Yadong-Vera moved to -165/+135, and the Over/Under of 2.5 rounds on Jotko-Anders shifted to -210/+175.

UPDATE 4:50 P.M. ET: Berg said Caesars books were seeing some sharp bets on Edson Barboza, for his main-card featherweight bout against Dan Ige. Barboza opened -130 and was at -160 Saturday afternoon, with Ige a +130 pup.

UPDATE: 1:45 P.M. ET: Krzysztof Jotko is seeing a "fair amount" of public bets at -160. Eichner said PointsBet USA's price on Jotko is generally shorther than the rest of the market, so those odds will probably stretch out if the current betting trend persists. Eryk Anders is at +128.
